Please be informed that the data which you provide shall be treated, using manual, computer or telecommunication systems, by Bioscience Institute SpA in such a way as to guarantee their safety and confidentiality. It is possible that the data in question are passed on to external companies, of whose collaboration Bioscience Institute SpA may decide to avail itself in Italy and/or abroad.
As the person concerned, you are entitled to the rights stipulated by art.13 law 196/2003; more specifically this includes the right to be informed about the origin of the data as well as about the logic and aims underlying their treatment, to apply for cancellation, transformation in anonymous form of the data or for the latter to be blocked if it has been treated in a way which violates the law, as well as to update or integrate the data, if you should deem it appropriate.

AVVISO IMPORTANTE SULLE STAMINALI DEL TESSUTO CORDONALE

A seguito di numerose richieste pervenute al nostro Istituto riteniamo doveroso chiarire quanto segue:

ai cittadini italiani è consentito esportare e conservare ad uso familiare le cellule staminali del sangue cordonale (definite emopoietiche). Per esportare questo tipo di cellule, contenute nel sangue del cordone ombelicale è necessario richiedere un Nullaosta al Ministero della Salute (Ord. Min. 01/03/2010).

Esiste, tuttavia, un altro tipo di cellule staminali (definite mesenchimali) contenute nel tessuto cordonale che, contrariamente a quanto avviene per quelle contenute nel sangue del cordone ombelicale, NON possono essere esportate verso alcuna struttura estera, anche qualora questa sia accreditata nello stato in cui opera.
